Child Student Visa
The (Child) route is designed for children who intend to be educated at independent fee-paying schools (also known as private schools), in the UK.
The minimum age a child will need to be in order to be eligible for the visa is four years old, and the oldest would be 17 years old. After that, applicants will need to apply under the adult route.
(Child) visa holders cannot study at publicly funded state schools.
In order for the visa to be successful, applicants must be able to score 40 points. Applicants will get 30 points obtaining a CAS (Certificate of Acceptance to Study) and 10 points to demonstrate sufficient maintenance.
